Here is a peek at the coupons you can get:

Bisquick
Green Giant

Go check it out to see the goodies contained within.

New Baskin Robins Coupon

Go Here to claim $1 off any medium or large capuccino blast from Baskin Robins. Hope you enjoy!

Wal-Mart Samples

Wal-Mart is the one and only place that I have consistantly received free samples. Go here to check out the latest samples available. Currently, the only awesome thing that sticks out is a diaper sample. Usually, I can score cereal and all kinds of other items. Of course, the samples usually come with coupons --- even more to love!

Free Cookies!!!!!!!

I just found an awesome deal! To celebrate national cookie month, Mrs. Fields is giving away FREE chocolate chip cookies on October 1st. Go here to scope out the details and to find a location near you.

Coupon Surfer

I am finding more and more interesting sites thanks to Google! Just found Coupon Surfer where they have lots of dining and grocery coupons. Go here and sign-up (free) to see the many coupons out there. There are a few coupons that are differing from Smartsource and Redplum, you may snag a few goodies. Most coupons are the same as those obtainable through other sources but it may be worth your time to scope it out.

I did find some local coupons that I havent seen anywhere else. I found some IHOP, Mrs. Winners and Jet's Pizza coupons (you have to register with your zip code in order to print them and see the available restraunts). I wont use any of those but I do know a few people that would benefit.

Sear's Savings (Juniors)

I used a $10 off any juniors purchase from the following link: http://www.sears.com/ue/clth/link_jrfashion_coupon.pdf

I went to my local Sears and planned on using 2 of the $10 coupons in 2 different transactions. The first transaction was $2.82 after I used the coupon to purchase a pair of juniors dress pants and a cardigan. I did have some trouble at the register, the lady said the register was telling her the coupon was expired. She agreed the coupon wasn't expired and then she said the coupon could only be used online. I pointed out that it said if you cant scan the coupon then enter the code. She had to call a manager over to force the coupon through the system.

My second transaction was for 2 shirts, I ended up not hitting the $10 mark so I went ahead and purchased the items anyways since I had made a fuss with the first transaction - I paid $9.16 after tax. All in all, $12 (rounded up) isn't too shabby for a pair of nice dress pants, cardigan and 2 shirts!

I know that I cant wear the clothes now but hopefully I can use them after the baby comes. I bought size 9 pants even though I was a 5 before becoming pregnant. I figure these can serve as my in-between clothes until I can fit into my regular clothes. Even if they are too big, too small or don't look right, I can always give them to my niece or my sister so no loss here.

Harris Teeter Triples (Saved 85%)

OOH WEE, I have become addicted to couponing thanks to HT!! I purchased $45 worth of stuff for only $7, that's an amazing 85% savings! Here's what I got:

3 Welch's grape jelly (1 jar and 2 squeezies)
1 Viva Big Roll
3 Glass Plus spray cleaners
1 Spray n Wash
1 Sure deodorant
2 boxes of Curad bandages
2 cans of Dole pineapple chunks
1 Kikoman Teriyaki
1 KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce
2 Mt Olive Pickles
1 Suave body wash (Cocoa Butter for my pregnant belly)
1 Dial foaming hand wash

I think that I miscalculated the cost somewhere because I was shocked to have walked out paying as much as I did. I cant figure out if I did something, if HT was the culprit or a combination of the 2 of us. Anyways, 85% savings is pretty darn good so I wont be stressing. I think that I am well stocked on glass cleaner for quite some time. I kind of felt guilty walking out of there with so little OOP! I need to put another game plan together for a trip again this week. I was able to put my preliminary list together thanks to http://www.southernsavers.com/2009/09/harris-teeter-ultimate-triples-916/ I love triples and I love SouthernSavers.com!!

Publix Trip

Woo-hoo!!!! I just scored 4 bottles of HE All Small and Mighty for $1.59 each at Publix. They are on sale for B1G1 and I had 4 $1 off coupons for a final price $1.59 ea!!! If I could have printed more coupons, I would have but the site limits you to 2 and I only have access to 2 different computers. I was very happy to have an HE machine today, the regular detergent was wiped out.

I bought a few other items while at Publix so my overall savings was 50% today, not bad for a newbie :) I also snagged a penny item (tortilla chips).

Healthy Dinner

Well, I said I was going to cook healthier and post my meals on here. Here is tonight's menu:

Salad with home-made balsamic vinaigrette

Herb Rubbed Pork Chops

Twice Baked potatoes --- used Havarti cheese so my meal wasn't entirely process free but pretty darn close!

Corn on the Cob

Best estimate for cost per serving: $3 -- I had many of the items around the house before deciding to coupon so I cant really tell. My meals should become cheaper per serving as I getter better at this.

CVS Deal

I made an impromptu visit to CVS today and scored the following great buys:

2 containers of Mom's Best Naturals quick cooking oats - $1 (used two .75 coupons for final price .25 ea) Can be printed: http://www.momsbestnaturals.com/blog/2009/03/moms-best-naturals-printable-coupons/ You can find this product on the dollar deal aisle - unfortunately, there is a limit of 2 coupons per IP address so use multiple computers if you can.

Colgate toothpaste - $2.99 (used $1 coupon for final price $1.99) This item earned $2.00 ECBs.

My total was $2.95 and I received $2 in ECBs so I pretty much spent .95!

This is the first time that I have taken advantage of ECBs, I am going to experiment with this to see how much I can rack up. My grand plan is to keep a rolling stash of ECBs to offset the cost of diapers ( only 90 more days until I will be needing those).

Publix Trip (Saved 34.5%)

Well, I just came back from Publix with my healthier options --- still didn't get 100% healthy stuff . This limited the number of coupons that I could use but I will be healthier for it. Here are some of the deals:

Healthy Choice Entrees$2.50/ea x 3 = $7.50 (used three $2 off coupons for final cost $1.50)

Green Giant Fresh Steamer - regular price $1.99 (used a .50 coupon for final price .99)

Green Giant frozen veggies $1 ea x 2 (used one .50 coupon for final price of .50 ea)

Lenders Whole Grain Bagels B1G1 (bought one for .90---- no coupons)

Charmin 6 roll tissue on sale for $2.99 ( had one coupon from a home mailer - final price = $1.99)

Glade large soy candle - regular price $4.49 (used one coupon from a home mailer for final price $1.49) - Note: could have gotten a smaller candle for free but I didnt like the choices.

G2 drinks (for hubby) on sale at $1 ea x 3 = $3

Publix Vanilla Wafers - Penny item (saved $1.98)

Other items for this trip included nectarines, peaches, lemons, sweet onions, green onions, eggs. coffee, bananas, pork chops, spaghetti sauce, potatoes, dip and lunch meat for hubby.

Total before savings and coupons: $91.90
Saved: $31.68
Total OOP: $60.22
Total Saved: 34.5%

Not a huge savings but I did save. I did come home with 6 of the huge recycle bags full of stuff. Considering that my past trips to Publix (before couponing) always totaled well above $100, I feel pretty darn good about this trip. I will post later about the meals I plan to make this week.
